Youth Empowerment

The Challenge

In development, countries are facing the challenges of food security, healthcare, sustainability and infrastructure. In this context, there are many young people in extreme poverty who are idle, not working and unsure of what they can do. About 9 percent of the world’s population of people aged between 15-24 live on less than $1.90 a day. Collectively they represent one-fifth of the world’s poorest people. In addition, 1 in 3 of the young Africans who are employed live in extreme poverty.
Our programme focuses on skills development, learning by doing and mentoring to nurture the entrepreneurial spirit in our young people who are usually energetic, forward-looking and fast learners. However, because of the extreme poverty from which they are all starting and the challenging context impacting them disproportionately your support is required.

The Solution

Fresh Inspiration will need your financial support and commitment to help, and to provide transformational support and hope to each child by keeping them educated, healthy and fed. Education is one of the strongest instruments for reducing poverty and improving health.
